Shredding of old records/files and papers of DCSEM and its sale in Vikram Sarabhai Bhavan and Anushaktinagar premises for a period of 2 years. The Contractor shall engage one Heavy Duty Shredding machine which will be kept and utilised for shredding work in the premises of DCSEM at Vikram Sarabhai Bhavan (VSB), Anushaktinagar, Mumbai with sufficient manpower, gunny / jute bags & arrange transportation of shredded material at his own cost. Shredding Machines shall be taken out from VSB premises only after completion of period of work contract on receipt of no dues certificate from this Office. Disposal of the shredding material needs to be carried out by the Contractor. The above work shall be carried out as and when required by this Office on advance intimation. The Contractor has to submit Police Verification Certificate (PVC) of self and his workers along with Aaddhar card copy for entry in Anushaktinagar/ VSB. The shredded/waste paper shall then be filled in gunny bags and weighed at DCSEM Stores where weighing facility is available in the presence of APO (G) or representative and Security Officer (AERB Gate) or their authorized representatives. The payment for the shredded paper/carton/files etc. has to be remitted in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Pay & Accounts Officer, DCSEM before the material is taken out from Anushaktinagar premises. Rates shall be firm and all-inclusive during the period of contract. The successful bidder shall be bound to lift the waste paper even if the actual quantity is less or more than the tentative quantity indicated in the Bid/forward auction document. All the facilities required for shredding viz. shredding space, power point, and electricity supply shall be provided by DCSEM free of cost. Security procedures and instructions given by DCSEM Security will have to be strictly followed by the contractor and his workers at all times. If the Contractor fails to comply with Scope of work and General terms and conditions, he/she will be liable for a penalty of ?200/- per day. |
